Luke

The Gospel of Luke is about the Good News of new life in Jesus.  In it Luke answers for the question: Who is Jesus? Modern scholarship presents many versions of Jesus to the world – the Jew, the sectarian, the healer, the sage, the teacher, the social justice guy, the Rabbi, the Pharisee, the humanist, the end-of-the-world-is-coming guy, the rationalist, the visionary, or the mystic[i]. You could choose just about any idea of who Jesus was and I could probably find someone who has written a book (or at least a blog!) to support it. But Luke is going to answer this question through his careful investigation of the real Jesus. Luke documents Christ’s life from before his birth, through his ministry, and to his death, resurrection and ascension.

I have written an introductory booklet (4.25Mb) that will help you get your head around the Luke's gospel.
